East-West Relations
After years of eased tensions between the "west" and Russia, the last few years have been once again cooling down, so to speak. The latest diplomatic conflict between the new British prime minister and current Russian president Vladimir Putin has only thrown relations in the fridge.

Ubuntu
I've finally acted on my long avoided plan to install Linux on my old PC. After some quick experiments with a LiveCD version of Linux, I've decided I'm going all the way and installing Ubuntu to the smaller hard drive of this older PC; a Gateway with a Pentium 4 with 512MB of RAM and 40GB main HD and a larger 140GB HD in case I actually get the hang of this... but the Installation window has now changed its name to Installation complete and beckons me to continue this process from outside of this LiveCD OS/Installer...

JS Hack
Atlanta Blue Skye, an Internet radio station, is threatening a blogger from Romania who revealed an already well known JavaScript hack for defeating right-click blocking methods. The incompetent and confused lawyers at this Atlanta Blue Skye then proceeded to request that a news site take down the blogger's blog and not cover the issue.

.bank TLD
An idea has been going around about creating a top level domain with strict verification measures for the banking industry. [http://blog.foreignpolicy.com/node/4834] And in my opinion, this makes perfect sense. Whether or not the average Joe realizes the change shouldn’t matter, the change comes in how browsers and other Web applications could handle the knowledge of knowing a website is a verified banking institute.

Graduation '07
Just got back from my high school's graduation. Of course I didn't graduate but many of my friends did and next year a new leaf will turn and I and my fellow classmates will be the seniors. I guess, like they've always said, time flies when you're having fun.

Rogue Galaxy
Level-5 strikes again. Two and a half hours into Rogue Galaxy, main character level 13. And I've enjoyed every bit of now so far. The lush environment's graphics filter provided by cel shading. Best of all there's very few loading screen and save points are frequent. Gameplay in this game is different from what one might expect who is used to the normal RPG, but do not fear, its an interesting change. All in all, this is a must-play for diehard RPG or PS2 gamers.

A different MMO idea: NAVYFIELD Online
A friend of mine scrounged up a random new game of very interesting character. It might be a 2D game, yet something about it manages to pull one in, as do many other MMOs. What's different from this MMO? This game is a navy RTS.
